Terms of Use

Effective date: [DATE]

Welcome to Morlah. These Terms govern your use of the app. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the Morlah app, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is operated by Felipe Salazar.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your region) to use Morlah.

3. The service

Morlah is a journaling and self-reflection app. You swipe through quote cards; an AI analyses your choices to generate a personalised insight and daily reflection questions; you answer them in a private journal; the cycle repeats.

4. Free experience and Premium subscription

The free experience includes one complete first cycle: the onboarding swipe deck, your initial insight, and 7 daily questions. After that, new cycles require Morlah Premium.

If you do not subscribe, you keep access to your account, your selected quotes, your insight, and all of your journal entries. You will not be able to start new decks, generate new insights, or receive new daily questions.

Morlah Premium costs US$5 per month (local pricing may vary), billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and renews automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

We may change Premium pricing with prior notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

5. Your content

You own your journal entries and everything you write in Morlah.

You grant us the limited licence necessary to store and display your content back to you and to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your journal answers are never sent to AI providers.

You are responsible for what you write; do not use the App for unlawful content.

6. AI-generated content

Insights and questions are generated by artificial intelligence based on your quote choices. They are reflections and observations, not facts about you, and not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice of any kind. Morlah is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are in crisis or need help, contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, scrape or resell its content, abuse the AI features, interfere with the service, or use another person's account.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, brand, and the curated quote experience are ours or our licensors'. Individual quotes remain the work of their respective authors and are used for reflective, transformative purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (your ownership of your content, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law in your country grants you and that cannot be waived.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Itajaí / Santa Catarina.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be flagged in the App and apply from the stated effective date. Questions: contact@venciz.com.
